That word evokes for me the idea of peace and sensitively managed freedom for wildlife, and why shouldn't people have sanctuaries created for them too? I think it would be fair to say that one of the ideals of a home based on universal design is to create a sanctuary for the people who live in it. Good luck with the decision!
