We have Found a Name
For months Desiree and I have been researching names for our project. We have printed out reams of suggestions and finally I think that we have come to a concensus.
Bimbadeen
This is an Australian Aboriginal word that means good views. There does not seem to be any other tourist accommodations called Bimbadeen in the South Coast of New South Wales. I am trying to find a word to associate with Bimbadeen so that we can register the name. Any suggestions?

Hi Alex,
I think Bimbadeen is perfect! When you say you are seeking a word to associate with it, do you mean a noun such as “Bungalow”, “House”, “Villa”, “Cottage”, “Retreat”, or “Lodge”; or have I got the wrong idea altogether?

Vanessa
Yes you are on the right track.
I am leaning towards keeping it simple and just using bimbadeen.

My only other suggestion was “Sanctuary”. That word evokes for me the idea of peace and sensitively managed freedom for wildlife, and why shouldn’t people have sanctuaries created for them too? I think it would be fair to say that one of the ideals of a home based on universal design is to create a sanctuary for the people who live in it. Good luck with the decision!

Hi Alex and Desiree,
I like Vanessa’s idea; ‘Bimbadeen Sactuary’. It sounds like a haven of peace and tranquility - what everyone’s home should be.
Keep up the great work!
