I will be posting some more photos tonight. The comments from all of the tradesmen about the Style Plantation compressed bamboo flooring have been very positive. They say that it looks spectacular. The top level was laid over plywood underlay which was in turn on standard particle board sheet flooring. This was done so that there were no differences in levels between bathrooms or the the outside decking area. This is particularly important so that we reduce tripping hazards and helps getting wheel chair access OK. You would be surprised how even small level changes can cause havoc this way. The team have now started to lay the ground floor flooring. This is a more traditional set up where the compressed bamboo is being laid on battens which have been Dyna bolted to a concrete slab.
